Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know my dog walker or pet sitter is well-qualified and a good match with my pet?

All PetZazu team members are pet First Aid & CPR certified, must complete thorough training, and background checked before their first service.

 

Are you bonded and insured?

Absolutely! We are fully insured with Pet Sitters Associates. We hold a liability policy which covers damage or injury due to negligence or neglect, and a bond policy which protects our clients from loss as a result of theft.

 

Will I meet my pet’s assigned dog walker or pet sitter prior to the first service?

Yes! A meet and greet is necessary prior to your first service event. Before you entrust us with your pet and your home you can schedule an appointment to meet you and your pet.  Should a new PetZazu team member be assigned to your pet’s care in the future, you will have the option to meet them free of charge.

 

Where can I book a pet taxi ride to? (service currently not available)

You can book a pet taxi ride to daycare, groomers, boarding, training, veterinary, animal hospital, animal shelter, breeder, or request a custom trip. 

 

Am I able to ride along with my pet in the pet taxi? (service currently not available)

Absolutely! Our car service is designed for either your pet or you and your pet. 

 

Are you available evenings, weekends, or holidays?

Yes! We are available from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday-Sunday.  We make every effort to accommodate you, reach out to us should you need a service before or after hours. 

 

Will I be notified when a scheduled walk or visit is done?

Totally! We use a pet sitting software to share pictures and to provide you with a visit report card after each visit detailing duties performed, and how much fun your fur baby had during our visit. Should you prefer a different method (i.e. text message, paper note) we will gladly comply, you just need to ask. 

 

What is your cancellation policy?

We know life happens and plans change, sometimes at the last minute.  Cancellations made 12 hours or less before an appointment will be subject to a fee of $10.  Walks or visits canceled without notice will be charged at full service price.

 

How can I schedule a service or request a cancellation?

We use a pet sitting software that allows you to book your own services through an App or the client portal.  Not comfortable using Apps or portals? You can call us or text us with your requests at 862-299-9009, or through email at petzazuinfo@gmail.com

 

How do you invoice clients?

All invoices are automatically generated based on the events that are scheduled.  Invoices can be emailed in bulk after services have been completed. You can expect to receive an invoice on a weekly basis following the completion of your scheduled events.  However, we reserve the right to request payment in advance of services.

 

Payment options: Credit card, Debit card, Cash, Checks, Venmo, and Zelle.
